Enter the Lunar New Year in community via an eco-spiritual retreat! Gather for Circular Time-informed reflections, rituals, and listening to how Spirit is awakening us during these precarious times. In this spacious retreat, you will get a chance to step away from the overwhelm and over-crowdedness that may already be present in 2024. Slow down. Listen to God and to nature. Reflect on recent chaos in community. Pay attention to how Spirit is moving amongst us all. Much is demanded of us in these times. None of us are asked to do this work alone. This retreat offers much-needed spaciousness, integration, and discernment to hear and attune to Spirit.
This retreat is offered on a donation basis and donations serve to off-set costs. Options to stay overnight at the Abbey are also available.
Through a variety of approaches, including circular calendars, small group exercises, discernment, worship, prayer, song, a fire circle, taize, working with and through grief, embodied ways of knowing, and time in the wilderness, we will together find patterns and integrative healing. Join us in courage, solace, and renewal.
The retreat is also led by Rev Sara Jolena Wolcott. Wolcott brings a distinctly decolonial and multi-faith approach to her work, infused a deep love of the Divine Feminine. The retreat is supported and eldered by Hayley Hathaway, who has worked with Sara Jolena for many years. The two women both bring a deeply Quaker-informed eco-spiritual practice to this gathering.
