Sustainable Food Prep

The Nashville Chapter of Tennessee Interfaith Power & Light is excited to welcome this workshop from local restaurant owner Seema Prasad about how to source ingredients, prepare food, and be mindful of food waste in the process.

Seema Prasad is the owner of Miel Restaurant where, for the past twelve years, she has championed the use of sustainably-grown food and wine and overall sustainable practices. The ethos she has built for Miel is based on sourcing products sustainably, employing ecologically-sound systems and focusing on a closed loop for resources.
