Sister Joan Brown, executive director of New Mexico Interfaith Power & Light, was interviewed for a podcast for A Nun’s Life Ministry. The 52-minute podcast, part of the “In Good Faith” series, was posted on Earth Day, April 22. In the podcast, she talks about the work of NM-IPL and the various environmental issues confronting our state. Listen Here

Earth Month Video

NM-IPL celebrated Earth Month by sharing short videos from faith and community leaders throughout April. The nearly one-dozen participants from diverse faith traditions put together a message saying why they love the Earth and New Mexico and how they show this love through various actions. We pieced together all the videos into single video.

Emily Syal, a young adult advisor to the board and coordinator of several NM-IPL campaigns, offered an Earth Day sermon at Las Placitas Presbyterian Church in Placitas on Sunday, April 25.
