Archbishop John Wester will offer his blessing and dedication at the Unveiling and Blessing of a Sign of Peace at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe (her largest shrine in the USA) in downtown Santa Fe, NM, at the intersection of Guadalupe and Alameda Streets.

The location has added significance in that less than 100 yards away the Los Alamos National Laboratory is leasing an office building to accommodate its expanding work force as it ramps up the production of plutonium “pit” bombs cores for new nuclear weapons. This is part of the accelerating nuclear arms race, one arguably more dangerous than the historic Cold War.

In keeping with the tradition of Our Lady of Guadalupe attendees are encouraged to bring a rose. And their hopes, prayers and aspirations for a peaceful world. Please observe COVID protocols of masking and social distancing.
