Location: County Line River Access. south of Pilar N.M.
Studies show that spending time in or near water is good for our physical and mental wellbeing. Amigos Bravos invites you to partake in the therapeutic effects of water by joining us on the banks of the Rio Grande for our flagship member appreciation celebration, Rally for the Rio on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from Noon – 5 pm at the County Line River Access area off NM Hwy 68. It’s a good excuse to spend a lazy day on the river before heading to Taos for Paseo events. We’ll have live music, craft beer from Red River Brewing Company, fresh food from Virsylvia Farms, educational and environmental tables, and fun hands-on activities for kids.
Amigos Bravos members can sign up for one of two free float rides provided by Los Rios River Runners. Since space on each float trip is limited, we suggest pre-registering ahead of the event at the links below.
This is a free, all ages event!
Live Music Schedule:
12:30 – 1:30pm: Benito Concha and Mazatl Galindo perform traditional Native drumming and woodwind music
2:00 – 3:00pm: High Desert Acoustic Duo, Justin Dean and Mark Dudrow, cover folk to rock
3:30 – 4:30pm: Garry Blackchild performs rustic Americana and Country Blues, layered with heavy and raspy soulful vocals.
