Interfaith Power & Light New Mexico & El Paso commemorated Earth Month with several events in Albuquerque, Mesilla Park and El Paso. Here are some of the highlights of the events that we sponsored.
We start with videos from our #EarthDay Composting Workshop, featuring James & Joyce Skeet of Covenant Pathways and Spirit Farm near Vanderwagen, NM. They led a workshop on healing the soil and the soul. The Skeets come from Navajo worldview and a spiritual perspective. The afternoon session featured hands-on activities, where participants created a compost pile and worked with soil.
