All of you who are engaged in education and advocacy around extractivism and extractive industries will find worthwhile this year’s virtual Ecumenical Advocacy Days, April 18-21. It will be a full conference but all online – no travel costs, no hotel costs, very low registration fee ($25 before the end of the month, $35 after that).
The theme is climate justice, and the program features worship, keynote addresses, many smaller workshops, and advocacy with your legislators via phone or videoconference. Our Inter-religious Working Group on Extractive Industries is developing a workshop on how faith groups are in solidarity with land defenders.
