The Community Solar Act was signed into law in April 2021 by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham. It aims to benefit individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and other groups who don’t have access to energy from solar installations. The program allows for 100 megawatts (MW) annually, totaling 200 MW of community solar development until 2024. What is the status of Community Solar?
