New Mexico Pilgrimage for Unity invites you to a
A Self-Designed Offering of Gratitude
Share gratitude as a pilgrim: Walk, Pray, Give Thanks
Include others or walk alone…walk 1, 2 or all 3 days; shorter or longer distances; consider walking with friends from other faith communities; seek unity. You design your offering of gratitude.
Focus on these words from Romans 12: 1-2, The Message
So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating,
going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for God. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out.

NM Pilgrimage for Unity is a program of The Ecumenical Institute for Ministry.
Pilgrimage is about transformation. We walk and pray because deep within we seek an encounter with God to direct our ordinary lives. During Thanksgiving weekend secular culture calls us toward excesses of consumption and competition. In response, Christians from various streams turn in a different direction: away from the noise and toward the silence. We step onto the Pilgrim Path, heading toward the holy, laying out our prayers with every step.
