‘Our Power Comes from Above’
New Mexico & El Paso Interfaith Power and Light is excited to work with more faith communities to install solar power in their facilities. This is a great opportunity for our communities to lower energy bills and make more funds available for ministry, address climate change and care for our sacred creation.
Background: The United States Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) has funds for the first time that can assist Houses of Worship with up to 30% or more direct pay checks through the IRS the year following installation. We know each faith community is different and has unique needs. Since we have worked with many faith communities by sharing information and experience and we are tied into our national IPL network with guidance and resources to assist with the process of application for IRA funds, we look forward to your contacting us so we can help you receive the gifts of Brother Sun for your community!
